BRIEF INTRO ABOUT OUR HISTORY:

FICO was established in 1952 with name FAIZI INDUSTRIES and was registered as a Private Limited Company later on. Since then FICO is involved in manufacturing of Switch Gears, Control Gears. Distribution Protections and Measuring Equipment.

FICO made revolutionary developments with its wide range of well – designed and engineered Distribution, Protection and measuring Equipment and also meet all parameters of International Standards. FICO focused its all efforts to produce highly reliable and quality products to compete relevant competitive products. Within short span FICO was considered as the Name of Guarantee all over Pakistan due to its product quality and Reliability. After this success, FICO accepted the challenge of manufacturing Low Voltage & 11 KV Medium Voltage Current Transformers for the first time in Pakistan in the year 1985. By the Grace of Almighty Allah FICO was able to manufacture and supply LV & MV instrument transformers to SIEMENS & Alstom, the two reputed Multinationals in Pakistan at that time. The continuous struggles and aim to produce best quality products resulted high demand of FICO make LV & MV Current Transformers locally also.

Now FICO is working as group of Companies, which are being run independently for the sake of continuous development and better management. Following is the detail of the Product range Company wise.

FICO ELECTRIC (PVT) LTD INTRO:

FICO ELECTRIC (PVT) LTD was established as an independent unit of FICO Group later on for better management & handling of the MV Instrument Transformers department. Since then FICO ELECTRIC is involved in manufacturing of 3.3 ~ 33 KV instrument transformer with great zeal and zest.  FICO Electric is associated with multinationals like Siemens Pakistan, Schneider Electric & K-Electric due to its world class quality products and ability to manufacture any kind of 3.3 ~ 33 Kv Instrument Transformers. Due to Our untiring efforts FICO Electric is now in line for becoming the Siemens global supplier, which will enable us to enter International market as Siemens first authorized global supplier of Instrument transformers from Pakistan. We are also Certified from SGS for ISO: 9001:2008, ISO: 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007. Our laboratory is accredited from PNAC Pakistan according to IEC-17025 standards.

Technical Staff:

In order to maintain quality assurance according to the International Standards, the company has hired the services of qualified Engineers, Technical Staff and Skilled Workers.

Plant and Machinery:

Company has installed modern and sophisticated machines, equipment and instruments to meet all parameters of Electrical and Mechanical areas according to International Standards. In addition to the above Company have in-house facilities of Casting, Electroplating, Coil Winding Machines, Sophisticated Mixers and Pouring Equipment, Core Making and Steel Core Winding at its own works.

FICO has also installed the first of its kind completely computerized Partial Discharge Measurement system (PD System) with Faraday cage arrangement, which is major requirement for the smooth working of this costly Equipment.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS:

    • Epoxy Resin Casted Insulators (11 Fins) with the collaboration of Chinese Company (In final process)
    • 132 KV Instrument Transformers
    • Induction of APG System to Replace CVC Pouring System.
